A Case of Stevens-Johnson¢¥s Syndrome

Abstract
A case of Stevens-Johnson¢¥s syndrome is reported in an 8 years old boy. The case showed the scarring of the tarsal conjunctiva, symblepharon, trichiasis, corneal opacity and the residual pigmentation in the skin. These findings seemed the sequelae of the Steven Johnson¢¥s syndrome. There were the recurrences of the symptoms of photophobia and eye discharge. These symptoms appeared to be- the result of the kerato-conjunctivitis sicca; The author believes the proper treatment at the acute stage in this syndrome could minimize the possible sequel and wants to emphasize the special attention to the eyes at this stage of the cases.
